The fellowship-trained surgeons at Palm Beach Colorectal Surgery are dedicated to treating diseases of the lower gastrointestinal tract. Our physicians understand the impact these conditions have on quality of life and take all factors into account when developing treatment strategies. Dr. Heidi Bahna and Dr. Juliet Ray take the time to develop a patient-centered treatment plan, considering each patient’s specific needs.

Dr. Ray and Dr. Bahna have expertise treating a broad variety of conditions, including, but not limited to:

  • Inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD): Crohn’s Disease and ulcerative colitis
  • Pelvic floor disorders: fecal incontinence, rectal prolapse, and rectocele
  • Anorectal pathology: hemorrhoids, fistula, fissure, abscess, and pilonidal disease

Our physicians are also strong advocates of the timely screening and diagnosis of colon cancer, and perform colonoscopy as well as advanced therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Bahna and Dr. Ray communicate closely with primary care providers, gastroenterologists, and oncologists, in addition to other members of the treatment team to provide comprehensive multidisciplinary care.
